A flower wall is a wall of flowers mounted on a panel or a grid. It can be densely packed with fresh flowers, mixed with foliage, or partly made with preserved flowers, which last and cope with heat. It is used as a backdrop for the photo corner, behind the top table or at corporate events with a logo.
It is a major set-up job: structure, weights, time and often several people. Fresh flowers without water suffer, so the choice of material depends on how long it has to last and on the season. The guide to the flower wall covers sizes, materials and costs; the one on floral corners shows where to place it; the one on the flower designer's team explains why it needs extra hands.
What to ask: the size, whether it is hired, how long it takes to put up and take down, and how it is secured.
